2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. When pages are requested, the host processes technically necessary data in order to deliver the website and secure its operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable provision (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

3. Server log files

When this website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically. This includes in particular:

  • shortened IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • requested address and amount of data transferred
  • browser type, browser version and operating system
  • referrer URL, if transmitted

4. Contact form and website check

If you contact us via the contact form or the free website check form, we process the details you provide – name, email address, optionally company, phone number and website address as well as your message or objective – solely in order to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry aims at concluding a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Form data is transmitted via the form service of our hosting provider. Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

Your details are not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Cookies

By default this website only uses technically necessary storage access. In addition we store your analytics consent decision in a cookie so that you are not asked again on every page view. This cookie contains only the value of your decision and no personal content.

6. Google Analytics – only with your consent

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics is only loaded after you have actively consented in the cookie notice. Without your consent no Google script is loaded and no data is transmitted.

If consent is given, usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate region, device type and triggered events (for example submitting a form) is processed. IP anonymisation is enabled. Content from form fields – in particular name, email address, phone number and message text – is not transmitted to Google.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reopening the cookie settings and declining analytics. Data transfers to the USA cannot be entirely excluded; Google bases such transfers on standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention period

We process personal data only for as long as it is required for the purposes described or as long as statutory retention periods require. Afterwards the data is deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
